PEVINO

Merging Advanced Technology with Timeless Design
A leader in premium wine storage, Pevino had developed the world’s most energy-efficient wine cooler. Jacob Jensen Design was then commissioned to give this innovation the design it deserved: elegant, timeless and fitting for the brand’s most exclusive range to date.

From Flagship Concept to a Unified Design Language
The collaboration began with The Future Wine Cooler, envisioned as a flagship statement for the brand. As the project evolved, Pevino decided to integrate elements of this new design language across their existing Imperial, Majestic, and Noble series, transforming the entire product range and prompting an update of their brand identity to reflect the new aesthetic direction.

THE VISION
The goal was to create a design that celebrates Nordic values of simplicity, honesty, and precision, while delivering an intimate and luxurious user experience. The cooler should feel like a cozy cave for wine, a space where advanced engineering quietly enhances the art of wine preservation.

The new Pevino design language is grounded in clarity and modularity. Every visible element has been rethought to convey refinement and precision.
Ventilation systems are now discreetly hidden behind Pevino’s signature orange steel and clean front panels, while interchangeable side panels allow users to harmonise the cooler with any interior style.

The result is a product family that balances high performance with tactile, architectural simplicity — a clear visual identity that now defines Pevino’s entire range.
Developed exclusively for The Future Wine Cooler, this system redefines modular luxury.
- Interchangeable slats can slide or be removed for custom configuration.
- Fits all bottle sizes, from Burgundy to Magnum.
- Full pull-out extension for seamless access.
- Flexible crate structure absorbs vibration for optimal preservation.

Designed for the Majestic and Noble series, combining craftsmanship and functionality.
- Box-joint corner detailing and burned logo branding express authenticity and care.
- Grooved layout increases capacity while keeping bottles visible.
- Available in multiple wood types and finishes to suit varied interiors.
- A more accessible alternative that maintains design coherence with the premium range.

A new interface was created to make advanced technology approachable.
- Minimal, tactile design focused on intuitive use.
- Mode wheel for easy navigation.
- Discreet TFT display behind a small unmasked window for instant feedback.

The system is built around interchangeable components including cabinet side panels, door handles, rack fronts, and bases, enabling flexible personalisation while keeping production efficient.
This modular framework future proofs the range, allowing Pevino to expand or refresh collections over time while maintaining consistent design integrity.

SCOPE & OUTCOME
The project encompassed the design of shelves, control panel, lighting, and CMF across Pevino’s Imperial, Majestic, and Noble series.
It also introduced a new brand design language, ensuring every product reflects the same premium craftsmanship and forward-looking vision.
The result is a unified product universe that translates Pevino’s technological excellence into an elegant, timeless design experience — redefining what the modern wine cooler can be.
